Welcome To One Life At A Time
The future is now, and through our new virtual outreach initiative, One Life at a Time has partnered with over twenty sober and recovery homes to provide technology and resources directly to individuals in early recovery. Services include recovery coaching, residential placement assistance, and assistance with facilitating various resources including counseling, clothing, and food support. One Life at a Time is working hard to have full remote and virtual offerings to more than 50 sober homes by the end of 2020 to ensure we can provide support to as many individuals as possible looking to make a positive change in their lives.
At One Life at a Time, our mission is to provide comprehensive employment assistance and job training to individuals in recovery. Through our Job Preparation and Training Program, we have helped over 18,000 people successfully rejoin the workforce. Current program and work shop offerings include job search strategies, interviewing skills, Microsoft Office applications, remote and tele-work preparation, and much more, with additional workshops added regularly.
As everyone adjusts to a COVID-19 world, One Life at a Time has adjusted to provide both in person and virtual assistance. Our new 3 week career training program engages our clients as active participants, offering resume and cover letter writing, job searching and networks, interview tips and techniques, and one-on-one career coaching and job placement sessions. Clients receive both classroom instructional support, as well as one-on-one support for up to two years to ensure a smooth transition into the next phase of their lives.

The drug and alcohol epidemic has affected many peoples’ lives, both personally and professionally. So, what’s the next right thing? We are forming inclusive programs with businesses that involves mentoring, hiring and sponsoring our Clients. This creates a great and unique opportunity to work together in helping merge your current Corporate Responsibility Programs and collectively be part of the solution.

Career Recovery Training Program
One Life at a Time offers a 3 week program geared towards individuals in recovery seeking to enhance their skills for career placement opportunities, by offering classes on Resume & Cover Letter Writing, Job Searching, Networking and Interviewing Techniques.
Workshops & Classes
One Life at a Time offers regular workshop classes on a variety of topics that may be of interest to job seekers. They include Computer Fundamentals, Cover Letters, Resumes, References, Networking, Self Assessment, Job Searching, Interviewing, Staying Motivated during Job Search and Workplace Phone and E-Mail Etiquette. In addition, we offer classes in the Microsoft Office Suite i.e. OneDrive, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Virtual and Physical 1 on 1 Career Coaching
One Life at a Time offers individual services including 1 on 1 job coaching, mock interviews and job searching assistance, all delivered in person or in a virtual setting
Recovery Services and Support
Recovery coaching is available daily, along with resources available to assist with sober home placement, treatment placement and advancement in your recovery life. Our team is committed to follow each client for a period of up to 2 years to provide any support necessary.
